Services

process-worx also offer our customers an independent consultancy service, as well as our computer systems design and implementation.

- assessing your needs
- post-implementation support
- sub-contracting to third parties

assessing your needs
when our consultant first comes to visit you free of charge*, we’ll need to discuss the way you currently process your business information. this doesn’t need to be too in-depth, but we’ll need to go through the processes you use for logging, retrieving and editing your business information. this information can cover a range of areas, including:

- order entry – how you log new orders and organise your products and services
- client details – how you keep and access your client information
- procedures – how you write and access internal procedures (health & safety, personnel etc.)
- documents – how you keep you document templates, letterheads, stationary etc. organised
- stock control – how you control the incomings and outgoings.
- human resources – how you control and manage your staff’s daily work load, shifts, pay & training.

once we have managed to assess your processes, we can begin to discuss with you the possibilities for change and improvements – and this is managed at a quantitative level. by this, we mean that we can calculate with you the time spent actually doing the tasks listed above. we can then suggest improvements and, if we think we can assist with our software, will suggest the basic layout and featuring functions of any software systems we may be able to design and implement specifically for you - with you.

in this way we can help to identify and suggest improvements for your business, once we have shown you the savings you can make by helping to streamline the way you work.

post-implementation support
we realise that once we have developed a system for you, you don’t want us to just vanish and let you get to grips with it. this is why we will offer you help, advice and support for the first three months after implementation free of charge*. we design systems with you so that you already know how the product’s going to work before we install it. this is backed by a contract for you, where the exact product specification is set out in writing. when we come to install the software and provide any instruction literature to your offices, we will go through the functions with you, to make sure you are happy with the product. once installed onto your computer(s), we can then be contacted to discuss any further queries or support we can provide for you.

sub-contracting to third parties
if there is anything that we can’t do directly, we’ll search for the best contractor who can – and we ensure that the job you want done will be done. we will find the best quote for the work you need, organise and oversee the work and make sure that you are charged appropriately for the service rendered – so you don’t have to pay a penny more than you have to.

types of work we can sub-contract in this manner are as follows:

- hardware purchasing
- networking
- servers
- websites
- corporate identities
- business graphics and stationary

sub-contractors are picked from an extensive database of knowledge and experience, and can cover a number of requirements in order of ranked importance to you. your requirements will determine who we will approach for quotes, be they budgetary, functionality, experience, training or lead time. in this way we can tailor the work to suit your immediate needs, with a view to advise you when needed and plan for the future of your business.

*the free consultation is for all new clients on our first scheduled visit to your premises. the first consultation can last as long as is needed to assess your needs - after this visit you will be informed of any charges resulting in further visits from us, prior to the visit taking place.
